Happy Wabbit Year!

Happy Lunar New Year!

Thank God it is a long weekend this year because we are busy to the max with the wedding so close.

On the eve...

I had to work on the eve and was only allowed to leave at 445PM. Good enough for me since reunion dinner was to start only at 630PM.

Reunion dinner was at his place this year because we have already 过大礼 and I am already considered as part of their family.

Uncle Seng and Aunty Alice joined us this year. According to my future mother-in-law, it was the first time Uncle Seng joined us for reunion dinner though he was invited every year.

We had steamboat for dinner. There was so much food on the table that we couldn't finish.

After the dinner, dear and I head back to my home in Woodlands to spend the rest of the evening with my family and we stayed there for the night.

初一...

We woke up early on the first day of the Lunar New Year because we had to go to the church to "visit" his grandma.

After "visiting" his grandma, we dropped by Nex to pick up some groceries and have breakfast.

We ate roti prata at Food Republic for breakfast and it was mad expensive. Each of us had a piece of plain prata, a piece of egg prata, a cup of teh tarik and that cost us S$8.60 in total. They imposed a 10% surcharge because of the Lunar New Year. =/

Went to Joanne's new place in Serangoon Gardens after breakfast, as usual. It was time well spent and we had lotsa fun. Meeting up with the girls again for breakfast tomorrow. =)

初二...

We spent the whole of Day 2 at home.

Spent half a day trying to fix Dear's notebook because it was attacked by a virus. So proud of myself when I finally fixed it after struggling for a few hours.

Made potato salad and boiled carrots for lunch because there was nothing to eat out there.

We had dinner with our families at Red Star Restaurant because it was his dad's 60th birthday. Food was so-so. Nothing fantastic to rave about.

初三...

Supposed to have tuition in the morning but I had to cancel it because I seriously lack sleep.

Had lunch with Dear, Melvin, Terence and Ros before hopping over to Robin's house. Robin just shifted to a new place and we were invited to a housewarming party. Finally saw Kai Li again and we were all glad to see that she is fine and cheerful.

Went to Elaine's house for the annual steamboat reunion dinner in the evening. Uncle Teng initiated a Bingo game after dinner and we all had fun playing the game. All the new additions to the family were also present. They are all so cute! =)

Collected many ang pow this year. This is also the last time we will be getting ang pow from the elders. It will be our turn to give ang pow next year. =)
