Eventful April

Haven't got much time to blog for the past month, so I am doing a summary for April now.

1 April was April Fools' Day, but as my day was full of activities, I was safe from all the jokes and pranks. Woke up at 5AM to go tomb sweeping. Sis and I were one the few grandchildren who went. So proud of ourselves. HaHa~! Went home after tomb sweeping. Slept for a while before 8th Aunt called to ask us over for lunch. Went reluctantly 'coz I had to come back to Woodlands after lunch and they live in Yishun. Left after having lunch. When I left, YoekSheng and YoekLing were still in bed. The time was 2PM. See the difference between good children and bad children? HaI~! *ShAkEs HeAd* Had tuition for the rest of the day and there goes my Saturday. 6th Aunt called to inform mommy of 4th aunt's husband's demise while we were on our way home.

Had two new students on 2 April. Got a shock when I went for the first one. Shan't go into detail about this new student before I get into trouble. The second one was fine though. Had to go for tuition myself that day 'coz daddy and mommy had to go to Muar to attend 4th Aunt's husband's wake. Channel U was showing Campus Superstar's Final that night. I was so glad ZhiYang won. HeE~!

Attended revision lectures by UOL lecturers for about 3 weeks. Had to make a lot of changes to my schedule due to the RoJaK timetable I had. I hate the eRev system! ArGh~! The lecturers were quite alright though. Had learnt a fair bit from them.

It was mommy's birthday on 21 April. Went shopping with her that afternoon. Spent a lot of money! In just one afternoon, I had spent about $150. HaI~! Gotta start saving again. Had a birthday dinner for her as usual after tuition.

22 April was a very busy day for me. Went to tutor Louis from 9AM to 1030AM. Had Shermaine from 11AM to 1230PM. Bought some bread from Four Leaves during the break. Ate the Cheese Mayonaise on the way to YuShan's place. Tutored her from 2PM to 4PM. Rushed to Yishun to meet HuiJun after tuition. My phone's battery went flat at that time. I was uncontactable for the rest of the day. Went to Polished Diva at Bugis Village for manicure and pedicure. Had enjoyed my time there. Rushed back to Woodlands to tutor Jaslyn from 8PM to 10PM. I hate this girl and her mom. Always make me stay overtime. For your information, I wasn't paid more. Moreover, she doesn't like tuition but always demand that I be on time. If I am slightly late for like say 1 minute, she will call me. Did she ever realise why I didn't wanna be on time? It is because I didn't wanna be taken advantage of! Her mom always comes home late, so why should I be on time? For that particular day, both mother and daughter left me a voice message each. Fortunately, my phone's battery was flat. Got a lot of missed calls and messages that day. People just like to contact me when I am not available.

23 April was another busy day. Had tuition with Yati from 11AM to 1PM. Tutored WuDong from 2PM to 4PM. Knocked into something when I was coming out of his house. So painful! Had to travel to Punggol to tutor XinYing after that. Tuition with XinYing started from 5PM to 8PM. It is tiring to have tuition with the same student for 3 hours. Didn't wanna take this student but her mom insists that I must take her. No choice, gotta take. Got quite a few recommendations from students' parents these days. Too bad I can't take all of them 'coz my schedule is too tight to fit in anymore.

This week has been quite peaceful except that I have got a very bad toothache, flu, cough and sore throat. HaI~! Just when I thought things was getting better, it got worse. Tomorrow will be the start of a hectic weekend again. HuiJun is going to Genting with her family tomorrow night. SiGh~! I need a holiday too! Might be going to Indonesia or Thailand after my examination though. Now, that is something for me to look forward to. HeE~!

While I was typing this entry, the power tripped twice! There was a very heavy rain and the power just trip while I was using my laptop. I got a really bad fright 'coz I didn't know what to do during a power trip. Called daddy using my mobile phone 'coz the house phone can't be used. He taught me how to un-trip. The power was back for a while before it trip again. I got so fed up this time, I didn't on my laptop after I un-trip. Listened to my MP3 instead. Got quite bored and decided to blog again after a while. This time, I save the entry after typing one paragraph. Was so scared that the power will trip again and I will lose whatever I have typed. Once bitten, twice shy. HaHa~!
