Some
Karang Guni man came to my house to get my old computers just now. The price had been agreed upon before he came. It was agreed that my Pentium II will go at $20 and my Pentium III at $50. Since both computers were self-assembled, there was no sticker/label to indicate the processor version. He came and roughly scan through the two computers and said that he can only offer $20 for each of them as there is no indication of the processor version . I almost threw him out with a broomstick! Had I known he is going to offer $20 for a Pentium III computer, I would not have wanted to sell it to him! $20 is an insult! Do I look like I need $20 to survive the day? Talked to his
boss and he too gave the stupid explanation that there is no sticker/label to indicate the processor version. I almost exploded. I was so angry I shouted at him. He said I was rude to him. Hello! Who is it who made me angry? Who is the dishonest businessman here? Even if I was rude, which I don't think I was, he should not have made that remark. I was his customer. He then said he don't want any of the computers anymore. What kinda customer service is that? His business will not stay long if he treats his customers this way. Who would wanna sell their used computers to him? I know I won't and never will! Too bad I didn't get his company name, or I will definitely give him free publicity. What a jerk! Called a shop in Sim Lim Square and he offered $50 for my Pentium III computer after I told him its condition. He will be coming over in the evening tomorrow. Hopefully he is sincere about the offer he made.
